Derek Blair grew up in Centralia, Washington, and has been drawing ever since he could hold a pencil. Early on, he became obsessed with illustration, animation and graphic design, and has since made those passions his career from his home in Seattle, WA. Whenever he isn’t drawing, painting, or designing, he is outdoors, getting his nature on. He also plays guitar, dabbles in piano, and wishes he could play the violin. His musical tastes are pretty eclectic, but he bounces between melodic metal, orchestral film and video game scores, and classic soul.
