About the Founders:
Derek Blair
Growing up in Centralia and Olympia, WA there wasn't a whole lot to do. In order to entertain himself, Derek started drawing at a young age, and at the age of 11 decided that he wanted to be an animator. He became obsessed with Disney greats like Frank Thomas, Ollie Johnston, Milt Kahl, and his personal hero, Glen Keane. Luckily, he was blessed with wonderful parents who realized his passion and did everything they could to further that passion. At age 13, after his family got a decent computer, he started to teach himself HTML and mess around with a copy of Photoshop 4.0 that he had stumbled upon. The rest is history. Derek knew at an early age, that success in life with his art would first start with a traditional background, and be enhanced with the technology available. At age 21, he finally entered art school, already having a leap over the competition. Currently in his final year as an Animation major, he is a well-rounded animator, concept artist, web/graphic designer, and 3D generalist.
Josh Linton
Josh grew up in the small town of Bedford, IN. He knew at an early age that his artistic talents were too big for his hometown, and eventually found himself in Seattle, WA. As a Graphic Design major at the Art Institute of Seattle, Josh quickly gained the skills needed to become a successful graphic designer, specializing in print and web.
